It is with immense pleasure that I welcome you to the first ever edition of the IMPACT Challenge at Shishukunj Model United Nations 2026. I, Anaya Dhariwal, am honoured to serve as your Under Secretary General for IMPACT. I look forward to presenting an experience that is both engaging and thought provoking.

If the biggest debate you’ve ever had was over who’s going to pick what to order, welcome to IMPACT where the conversations are about challenges that shape our world.

Impact is a unique challenge that goes beyond conventional debate. Over the course of three days, participants will present and defend their assigned Sustainable Development Goals, engage in stakeholder discussions, showcase their ideas through creative expression, and collaboratively draft policy solutions. Designed to encourage critical thinking, teamwork, and innovation, Impact transforms discussions into meaningful action.

As this is the inaugural edition of Impact, there are no previous benchmarks and we will establish the legacy together. Every presentation, every debate, and every solution you put forward will help shape what this challenge becomes in the years to come. We hope this experience inspires you to think boldly, collaborate openly, and realise that meaningful impact begins with a single idea.
