Impact Challenge

Dear Delegates,
It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you all to the 11th iteration of Shishukunj Model
United Nations. It gives us great pride and pleasure to serve as the Moderators for the first
iteration of The Impact Challenge in Shishukunj MUN.
I’m Daksh Firoda, honoured to serve as the moderator for the first iteration of the impact
challenge. I am an 11th grader studying Physics, Maths and Economics. I’m a glass half
empty kind of guy. As for my hobbies I spend most of my time either on the squash court or
looking for some or the other idea for a new project. I started participating in MUN’s from
2021 and this iteration of the Shishukunj Model United Nations will be the 9th MUN
conference I've taken part in.
I’m Kritika Khandelwal, immensely pleased and honoured to be serving as the Moderator for
the Impact Challenge. When I look back on the years gone by, I see myself as a fifth grader
busting my head to understand the concept behind MUNs through workshops and practice.
And from the moment I understood what they truly are, I imagined myself in the position of
the bureau. I wanted to be one of those people who can help others overcome their fear,
who creates a positive environment, with just as many debates, exactly like what my seniors
had done for me. MUNs have helped me discover a part of myself that I never knew, and I
wish everyone would try to discover themselves through this art.
I'm Saanvi Jain, honoured and overjoyed to serve as the Moderator of the first iteration of the
Impact Challenge. As someone who likes to combine creativity with logic, and have fun
doing it, I hope to see a similar spark in all of you during the Impact Challenge. MUNs are
that middle ground where you truly learn through enjoyment, and without realising it, and I
will work to create a new and enriching experience for you all as well. I hope to create the
thrill, exhilaration and impactfulness I feel during MUNs, when the speeches just hit, the
arguments land and the debates sync up perfectly, but with an innovative twist and added
spice.
We eagerly await getting to know each one of you and have a conference filled with ideas,
innovations, alliances and craziness.
