Addressing the Survival of Axis Leadership and the Continuation of Resistance Operations After the Second World War

Namaste Delegates, It is with immense pleasure that I, Yajat Khanna, the chairperson of Ad Hoc II
invite you all to 11th Iteration of the Shishukunj Model United Nations.

As I recall, during my first Shishukunj MUN, I struggled to understand the committee procedures, was
extremely nervous, and had a fear of crowds. But with each MUN, that young delegate bloomed, and
never could I have imagined presiding over one of the Specialized Agencies.

What I am today is because of the Shishukunj MUN, it not just provides you a platform to speak, but
a platform to connect with people and develop your personality to its best. I hope each one of you
takes away the best experience from this year's conference.

The first time I was a delegate in Specialized agencies, I aspired to become one of the chairpersons.
Yes, there were multiple setbacks during the journey, but it was all about trusting the process. This
organ has transformed me and given me some of the best people I could ever meet.

With this, I encourage all of you to become the best version of yourselves, participate as much as you
can, and be ready for anything and everything. As the chairperson, I assure you that each one of you
will get a safe space to participate and speak up.

I look forward to meeting all of you as delegates and seeing what each of you has to offer.
