My name is Ami Asija, and I will be serving as your Crisis Director and Chairperson for The Crisis Director’s Ad-Hoc Committee, alongside your delightful and formidable Vice-Chairpersons, Aashita Kumar and Reneeka Chouhan. Expect all three of us to give you a hard time as well as the time of your life in the 72 hours of the Shishukunj Model United Nations 2026 – the 11th Iteration.
This committee has been a dream for many of us, now brought to life. The CD’s Ad-Hoc is where every delegate has something to gain and to lose, every person is lying, every person is accountable and most importantly, the entire committee sits under a threat it cannot seek help for.
“Twisted” is one word that sums it up, but paradoxically, straightforwardness and wit is what we, as your bureau, expect from the committee.
And aligned with this year’s theme, You(th); R.I.S.E: Responsibility. Innovation. Sustainability. Equity — We invite you to rise. Speak your mind. And let the gentlest delegate turn into unrelenting fire. Whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned MUN-holic, know this: your EB does not believe in stupid questions.
