The Cabinet of India, 1962

Greetings Delegates,
I am Kinshat Gangwani and it is my honour to serve as the Chairperson of the Cabinet of India,
1962 at the 11th iteration of The Shishukunj International School Model United Nations
Conference 2026. On behalf of the entire Bureau, I feel genuinely delighted to welcome you all
to a room that will leave you fundamentally changed.
I am a twelfth-grader, the world's biggest Ananya Pandey fanboy, a devoted Damon Salvatore
lover, and someone whose religion begins and ends with Messi. I back Alonso, Norris and
Hamilton every race weekend without apology, and my nights are spent shredding electric guitar
riffs in the rain until the neighbours give up. I attended my first MUN in 2022 with a Wikipedia
speech, a downloaded study guide, and the kind of blind confidence that only complete
ignorance can produce. That room dismantled me entirely and rebuilt me into someone who
actually knew what he was walking into. I live by the story of Icarus, When he was falling, he
didn't scream, he didn't regret but he laughed, he laughed as he fell for he knew that to fall is to
once have soared.
COI-62 is no ordinary committee. It is a Continuous Crisis Committee, full of surprises in every
session, frozen on 19th October 1962, a room where every assumption will be questioned,
every decision will carry real weight, and every delegate will be pushed far beyond what they
believed their ceiling was. My only promise to you as your Chairperson is that no question goes
unanswered, and you all leave having experienced what I hope will be the finest Indian crisis
committee at this conference.

everything you thought you knew turned completely upside down. Looking forward to meeting
